Alaska fishing in the Bristol Bay area is quite diverse. The waters contain all five species of salmon, huge rainbows, dolly varden, arctic char, pike, and grayling. The salmon species run at different times in June through August. Rainbows are best in early June and after mid August. The rest of the species may be caught at any time throughout the season. You can escape from the crowds and enjoy world-class fishing...the brown bear viewing isn’t bad either.
